CAROL (V.O.) Last year I walked the length of the Benjamin Franklin suspension bridge.
Panel 2: raining, night time, misty. The vague outline of CAROL can be seen through the mist, walking along the roadside.
CAROL (V.O.) Not the walkway. I walked the hard shoulder, right alongside the cars. I guess it’s cause it was night, but nobody stopped me. I guess none of the cops were out.
It’s just one of those things you do, you know?
